The Mercouri Estate olive orchards have been in existence since 1895 and are located within the estate.  The trees grow the Koroneiki olive, which is recognized as being one of Greece’s highest quality olive in oil production.  The estate is currently home to approximately 1200 olive trees whose age is between 50 and 110 years old.  The olive orchards are spread across approximately 80 hectares and are cultivated & certified as organically grown.  The Mercouri Olive Oil has been designated with a PDO of Olympia and is recognized as an extra Virgin olive oil. 

Upon harvest, the olives are cold pressed and then bottled at the estate.  The olive oil is sold in Greece, Europe and in the US.
