picturesque village of Sitia is located on the Northeastern
side of the island of Crete and is home of the Cooperative
of Sitia. The Cooperative produces the Sitia Wines as
well as the world renowned Extra Virgin Olive
Oil, Sitia 0.3 and Bio Sitia Organic.
The oils are known for their vibrant green color,
clean taste and balanced acidity. Since 1998, the
olive oils of Sitia have received many prestigious
awards from the various international olive oil councils
and competitions. In 1999 and 2000, the Sitia
0.3 Olive Oil has received the gold medal in
the International Olive Oil Councils annual competition
in Madrid, Spain.
